Marcos (Rodrigo Santoro) vive na Itália e retorna ao Brasil após a repentina morte do pai (Paulo José). Já no país, ele reencontra o irmão Tiago (Cauã Reymond) e descobre que tem uma meia irmã (Débora Falabella), portadora de problemas mentais. Ao mesmo tempo em que precisam lidar com o luto, Marcos e Tiago precisam conviver com as diferenças existentes entre eles e se acostumar com a nova irmã.
